In the event you are unaware, about 40 minutes before airtime last Thursday, I was walking to my studio when I felt a jabbing sensation in my upper right abdomen and became extremely sick. I thought I could ride out whatever it was – but I thought wrong. By Sunday, I was in unbearable pain and had a high fever. Long story short, a trip to the ER and after numerous tests, I was immediately scheduled for surgery (first thing Monday morning). The preliminary diagnosis was my gall bladder, and a simple 40-minute surgical fix by removal was planned. But, the best laid plans… I should not have waited. My surgery took about two hours.
Serious complications and other findings arose; additional tests are necessary.
Due to these complications and other factors, I’ve had to place the show on hiatus at least for another week, anticipating returning on or about April 28th.
